16/1/2010 Well done to the Choir who performed very well in their auditions.
10/12/2009 Best of luck to the school choir who are currently preparing for the auditions for Co. Dublin VEC Festival of Music 2010. The auditions took place in Castleknock on Saturday December 12th and the concert will take place on Monday, March 8th in the National Concert Hall, Dublin.
This year the choir are performing "I'm yours" by Jason Mraz. Tickets for the concert will be available from Ms. Morgan and Ms. Tierney in the New Year and will cost 10 euro.
Debating / Public Speaking

This takes place on Thursdays at lunchtime, 12.45pm in Room 9. All are welcome to come and enjoy an argument. If you have an opinion, or want to learn how to develop one, come along. Watch or speak, you're very welcome.

Drama

A drama takes place most years in the school.
Musical
Ms. Grant, Ms. Levins ,Ms. Skelly, Ms O'Neill and Ms Guilfoyle last outing at the musical scene was Grease in May 2010. This was a massive production and was extremely successful. The students who were in Leaving Cert at the time called it the highlight of their time at Balbriggan CC, it was enjoyed that much. There is much expectation about their next project which has yet to be announced but their are whispers that a new production is now too far away. So if you have the wish to be a 'Sandra D' from Grease or a 'Roxie Hart' from Chicago, contact the crew above and start organising.
