Balbriggan Community College kept up their unbeaten run against Ardgillan Community College in a game played in blustery conditions at O Dwyer’s pitch on Thursday the 24th Nov. This game which was played with great intensity throughout had everything; great scores, last ditch defending and super fielding. Ardgillan started off on top with two early scores but Balbriggan soon settled and two great goals by Stephan Kenny and Aaron Bruton had them in front. Playing with the wind Balbriggan had a nine point lead at half time.
                The second half saw Liam Thornton go to midfield where his high fielding came to prominence. Ardgillan had most of the play at this stage but some great defending by Owen Mooney, JJ Monks and Robert O Byrne kept them at bay. A last minute goal by Ardgillan came too little too late and Balbriggan Community College held out for a famous win.
