Eva-Tech Ltd and Balbriggan Community College continue their successful relationship as sponsorship agreement goes into its second year. 

The sponsorship agreement between Eva-Tech Ltd and Balbriggan Community College has seen another great success with the announcement that eight students from the school will be taking part in this year’s exhibition.  The sponsorship has flourished in the past years and resulted in a number of wins and special awards for the students in the school.  The continuation of the long running association between Eva-Tech Ltd and Balbriggan Community College has been a decisive factor in the continued success of Balbriggan Community College at The Young Scientist Competition.

This year’s Balbriggan CC have eight students taking part in the exhibition.  The projects range from studies of colour preference to projects concentrating on the ways in which students write.

Eva-Tech Ltd and their directors Joe and Mary English, got involved with the school in 2007 when their child Craig won 3rd place for his project ‘Natures Glue a Safer Alternative’ in the Young Scientist Competition.  Since then the school have gone on to win numerous awards and special merits.

Eva-Tech Ltd continues to support Balbriggan Community College Young Scientist Programme despite the downturn in the economy.  Financial Director Mary English said resources are scarce for everyone right now, so it is very important that we support our young people and get them involved in sciences.  We are impressed by the extra effort Balbriggan Community College make to get students involved.
