Transition Year students organised a sports tournament for second years for their Sky Sports project.
They have been organising it for a few weeks after participating in a leadership workshop through the Sky Sports Living for Sport programme.
The tournament also linked in with the CFES programme in the school. Transition years had to recruit second year students to their colleges by promoting the courses and sports in it. The colleges had a basketball and soccer team. All colleges then competed against each other in their respective sports events in an ‘Intervarsity’ tournament.
Well done to all Transition Years for your organisation, motivation and leadership throughout the project and congratulations to all 2nd years who participated in the tournament.
